Not everything is a 36-month problem. Festivals, dry-dock refits, summer accommodation turnover, seasonal norovirus peaks and one-off handovers all create a short, intense need — and there is a sensible way to handle each.

For a genuine one-off — an event, a refit, a handover, a seasonal peak — the right answer is usually a supervised attended treatment at a reduced rate rather than shipping a machine to an untrained team. If the peak repeats annually, a lease usually costs less than two seasons of attended work.

The supervised option
We attend with machines at a reduced rate to run or supervise the work. You get experienced operators, correct dosing and a proper record without your staff carrying the burden for a single event.
It also works as a trial. Several of our current lease customers first met us during exactly this kind of short engagement.
Seasonal peaks that repeat
Student accommodation turnover, winter norovirus, summer laboratory shutdowns, cruise and ferry refit windows. These feel like short-term needs but they recur every year, and the equipment sits idle for the rest of it.
Run the numbers over two seasons. A lease from £450–£550 per month + VAT that also covers your routine treatment for the other ten months typically beats two intensive attended engagements.
Refits, handovers and voids
A vessel refit, a building handover or a void property before reletting all benefit from a whole-volume treatment when the space is already empty. There is no downtime cost at all, because the downtime already exists.
For housing providers this is where preventative mould and damp treatment fits most cleanly — the void period is free treatment time.
What we will not do
Courier a machine to an organisation with nobody trained on it. Not because we are precious, but because an unvalidated dose in an occupied building is exactly the situation that gives this industry a bad name.
If the need is genuinely short, we attend. If it recurs, we train you and lease you a machine.

- We would normally attend and treat, or supervise, rather than leave a machine with untrained staff. It usually costs less and always produces a better record.
- Do you work out of hours and at weekends?
- Yes — most fogging is done when a building is empty, which frequently means evenings, nights or weekends.
- Can a short engagement convert to a lease?
- Yes, and it often does. The survey work done for an attended visit feeds straight into a lease quote.
- Do you cover marine and offshore work?
- Yes. Vessels are a core sector, and it is where having a machine on board matters most — shore support can be 24 to 120 hours away.
