The terms behind every Sanondaf lease

A plain-English summary of how our machine leases work — who we lease to, how the lease is structured, and what is included, from solution supply to the client portal and the fleet app. The signed lease agreement for each client is the binding document.

1. Who we lease to

Sanondaf machines are leased to approved registered organisations only — care groups, medical centres, food factories, transport operators, universities, cruise and maritime operators, defence and similar commercial settings. We do not lease to private individuals.

Each lease is agreed with a named organisation. The organisation remains responsible for the machines, their safe use and the training of its own operators for the full term.

2. Lease structure

Standard leases run for 36 months, with the first three months payable up front. Indicative pricing starts from £500 + VAT per month per machine, confirmed in the individual lease agreement.

Machines remain the property of Sanondaf for the duration of the lease and are returned, upgraded or re-leased at the end of the term. Leasing is a longer professional commitment — not short-term hire.

3. Solution & consumables

Each lease includes an initial supply of Sanondaf disinfectant solution (minimum 100 litres). The machine itself is unlimited in use — the only variable running cost is the solution you consume.

Solution is hospital-grade, non-toxic, safe on surfaces and materials including rubber seals and electronics, and fully biodegradable. Additional solution is ordered through your account manager or the client portal.

4. Client portal & fleet app access

Every lease includes access to the Sanondaf client portal: lease documents and dates, the machines on your site, a traffic-light payment schedule for the full term, machine operating and maintenance guides, and additional-machine requests for our authorisation.

Clients leasing four or more machines also receive access to the Sanondaf fleet app, customised to their organisation on our servers — their own sites, vessels, decks, room references, machine serials and login structure, with separate master and operator access levels. There is no additional charge for this at four machines or more; it is built into the lease.

The fleet app records treatments room by room with time, machine and operator, manages outbreak priority lists, and generates grouped end-of-day certificates and exports automatically. Master logins control outbreak flags, re-entry authorisation and document access; operator logins log treatments only and cannot see commercial or sensitive files.

Fleet app access for clients with fewer than four machines may be added by agreement. Access is provided for the duration of the lease and ends when the lease ends.

5. Supported launch cruise (cruise & passenger vessels)

Cruise and passenger vessel clients may lease any number of machines — even one — and every lease includes operator training as standard, with cost depending on location. Clients may also add an optional supported launch cruise, where two or three of our operators sail with the ship for the first cruise. Cost for the supported launch cruise is price on application, as it depends on the length of the sailing, the number of operators requested and the extent of the guest-facing and media work taken up.

The supported launch cruise is available where four or more machines are leased on that ship. Below four machines the coverage achievable in a single sailing is not enough to demonstrate the programme to guests, crew and press; it may be considered at fewer machines by agreement. Standard training and support still apply at any machine count.

It includes crew training with machine practice ideally before embarkation day, a planning stage over the ship's blueprints with one deck planned and then executed alongside the trained team, a 'pulse' day gathering opt-in guest feedback and explaining the programme, support for press, media and influencer coverage the line introduces, operator-login training for housekeeping and captain-login training for the captain, first officer and senior team.

Guest-facing, press and influencer activity is arranged with the client's approval and subject to the line's own media and privacy policies. Nothing is published without agreement.

6. Care, support & responsibilities

Setup, training and ongoing support are coordinated from our Shropshire & West Midlands office, backed by the wider Sanondaf UK and international network. Hybrid supervised support is available for first treatments and major outbreaks.

Clients are responsible for using the machines in line with the supplied operating and maintenance guides, storing solution correctly, and keeping their own treatment records where their sector requires them. Certificates and logs generated by the portal and fleet app support, but do not replace, the client's own compliance duties.
